An afternoon of Traditional Games Friday 25th March 2016

Including the Annual Marbles Competition 

 

HBBS Annual Guy competition. Congratulations to the winners whose guys took pride of place on our bonfire.

HBBS Members turned up in costume to support the Old Town Carnival 'Old Town Crier' Competition; yet again our chairman's voice was the loudest!

 

Championship Golf With a Difference - raising funds for HBBS by daring the guys to dress as gals and slightly easier, the girls as guys.

 

HBBS Marshalls did a great job supporting the Hastings Traditional Jack In the Green

May: Ladies Wot Walk Fundraising 2013

HBBS held it's annual Ladies Wot Walk fund raising event on Sunday 19th May Men wore the frocks and Ladies wore anything in a gentlemanly fashion. So - the biggest, funniest and most outrageous fundraising event of the year. Every year HBBS members and many of the Section 5 drummers dress up in their best frocks and are sponsored to walk from the BoPeep (St Leonards On-dea) to the Stag (Old Town Hastings) pubs. At the Stag there was entertainment 'Opera style' from the fabulous Toby and Jennifer!

HBBS Time Machine wins a 1st place in Old Town Carnival Procession class! August 2012

As members will probably remember, last year our submission ‘The Red Barrows’ won 2nd place in the pedestrian class of the Carnival Procession entries. This year we went one better in being awarded the top placing in our class for our weird and wonderful ‘Time Machine’!
